Robert Najlis was born in
Brooklyn, NY, and resides in New York
City.
He studied abstract painting, and worked as a studio
assistant with Frank O'Cain at
the Art Students League of New York. He also studied
Chinese
Calligraphy. He previously studied figure drawing with
Michael
Burban at the Art Students League, as well as drawing and
painting
with Tom Morris at the Corcoran College of Art and Design
in
Washington, DC.
Robert's artistic influences include Rembrandt, Miró,
Cézanne, and
(Qi Bai-shi).
