Let’s investigate the relationship between color movement and music.

Music theory provides us with very clear ideas about movement, whether it be a ii V I cadence, a I IV V, a full movement through the circle of fifths or some other kind of cadence.

There are many different types of musical cadences, and many different ways to move through the color spectrum.

The languages of music and color is different, so we cannot expect a 1:1 correlation, but we can look towards similar ideas in the fundamental philosophies and consider whether we can create a theory relevant for the visual arts.
